DJ roll effect
Build a DJ-style beat roll on the provided one-bar drum loop, like the roll on a hardware DJ effects unit.
- 124 BPM, 4/4, 6 bars (11.6 seconds). assets.loop is the one-bar loop (loop.wav, 1.935s), preloaded as a Tone.js buffer.
- Bars 1 and 2: the loop plays normally, once per bar.
- Bar 3: repeat the loop's first quarter note (its first 0.484s) four times, once per beat.
full spec (8 points)
- Bar 4, beats 1 and 2: repeat the loop's first eighth note four times, once per eighth note.
- Bar 4, beats 3 and 4: repeat the loop's first sixteenth note eight times, once per sixteenth note.
- Every repeat in bars 3 and 4 is pitched up a little more than the one before, rising to about one octave above the original by the last repeat.
- Bars 5 and 6: release cleanly back into the loop, playing normally from the downbeat of bar 5.
- No sample pack: use only assets.loop, Tone.js synths and effects.
